 | 2008 May Bias Inside the Iteco stand, Gabriele Sala has hold a workshop (2 daily session) about MSD (Moisture Sensitive Devices) such as SMD components, PCBs, PCB Flex, PBAs and boards to be reworked. Many arguments in the sessions: - Interpretation of standard IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033B.1: Handling, Packing,Shipping and Use of Moisture/Reflow Sensitive Surface Mount Devices During the workshop Sala has focused his debate to solve practical problems of SMT assemblers involving the audience. - Summary of Standard IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020D: Moisture/Reflow Sensitivity Classification for Nonhermetic Solid State Surface Mount Devices (MSL) - which damages may cause humidity absorbption by MSDs during reflow solder process - dry-pack: materials, equipments and baking (low, medium and high temperature) - how to compute the Floor-Life (like explained in the table J-STD-033) - strategy to avoid baking at high temperature for components and PCBs - use of dry cabinets (Stop Clock and Floor Life Reset) - Importance of Humidity/Temperature monitoring in the production line. | ||||||

 | 2007 March Added Datalogger and Remote Control functions to GHIBLI Dry Storage Cabinet The Ghibli has now a datalogger inside and is possible to get recorded informations or do a remote control simply using a serial cable to connect the cabinet to a PC. The needed softwares are all freeware. With an optional kit it's possible to do the same things in wireless mode, using a ZigBee connection. | ||||||
